II’m Doug Hofmeister, a Virginian through and through. Born and raised here, I’ve spent my life appreciating everything this great state has to offer—from its mountains and forests to its peaceful waterways.

Family is at the heart of who I am. My wife and I have been blessed with 43 years together, four children, and six wonderful grandchildren. What began as just the two of us has grown into a close-knit family of 15, and we’re grateful for every moment.

My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of my life. I believe every blessing I’ve received comes through Him, and that belief guides both my personal and professional decisions.

Real estate has always been part of my life. I was raised in a Realtor’s home, where I learned early on that success isn’t about transactions—it’s about people. My mother summed it up best: “Your success in life and business is always about the customer and their needs and dreams. Listen, help, and find.” Those words still guide me today.

With more than 38 years in the industry—including 28 years in mortgage banking and five years in real estate support—I’ve built relationships with real estate professionals in all 50 states and connected with tens of thousands of industry partners.
